 09AUG09 The Rolex Fastnet Race 2009 start, Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK. "Grimalkin", one of the stricken vessels, later recovered, that took part in the notorious 1979 Fastnet race, in which several boats and many lives were lost, the worst sea disaster of recent times. Here she is on the start line of the 2009 race, the 30year anniversary of the disaster year, to wish the fleet good luck.
